Rental Refund Policy

At YJAL Chic, we strive to provide a seamless and transparent rental experience for all our customers. Please carefully review the following refund policy before completing your payment.

1. Order Confirmation and Payment

  • Rental orders are confirmed once the full rental fee is paid.
  • Upon payment, the gown will be exclusively reserved for you, ensuring it is unavailable to others during your specified rental period.

2. Security Deposit

  • In addition to the rental fee, a security deposit is required at the time of gown collection. The deposit amount is calculated as the gown’s retail price minus the rental fee.
  • The deposit must be paid before the gown is collected to ensure the gown’s condition is maintained during the rental period.
  • The deposit will be refunded within 3-5 business days after the gown is returned in its original condition following an inspection.

3. Refund Policy

  • Non-Refundable Rental Fee: Once the payment is made and the order is confirmed, the rental fee is non-refundable.
  • Exchange Policy: Customers may request to exchange their selected gown for another style within the same price range before the rental period begins, subject to availability.
  • If the Price of the replacement item you select is greater than the Price of the item to be replaced, then you will also be charged the difference in order for your replacement to be confirmed.
  • If the Price of the replacement item you select is less than the Price of the item to be replaced, then we will issue You store credits equal to the value of the difference.

4. Order Cancellation

  • If you wish to cancel your order before the rental period begins, the rental fee will not be refunded. However, we are happy to assist in rescheduling your rental period or selecting a different gown.

5. Security Deposit Refund

  • The security deposit will be refunded in full within 3-5 business days after the gown is returned, provided:
    • The gown is returned in the same condition as when collected.
    • The gown has no damage, permanent stains, or delays in return.
  • In cases of damage, permanent stains, or late returns, deductions may be made from the security deposit, with detailed explanations provided.

6. Additional Information

  • Basic cleaning costs are included in the rental fee. However, excessive damage or additional cleaning needs may incur extra charges deducted from the security deposit.
  • Late returns will incur additional daily fees based on the type of gown rented.
